I’ve learned that editing another person’s work is a privilege. And a good review only works when you have permission to dig in.
When you ask me to review something, there are a couple of “modes” I can go into (ie. quick, routine, rigorous). And there are areas I can focus (ie. thoughts & opinions via comments, proofing, clarifying & reworking).
After asking me to review something, I’ll send you a link to this page and ask you to complete the questionnaire linked below.
This may seem transactional, but it 1) helps make sure we’re aligned on outputs and 2) that I utilize my time in a way that is helpful to you.
