To grow as an organization, you need to write things down.
Failure to do so will make life difficult. Not just for you, but for everyone else.
Spoken word is ephemeral. Written word is lasting.
There’s an old proverb. At it’s root is documentation.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
The three curves
Organizations mature their sharing of information along three curves.
These curves are overlapping. Since these require mindset shifts, it’s not likely that you’ll see radical jumps. Rather, it’s progressive steps. (After all, each reflects additional levels of buy in. And likely in larger and larger groups).
